HOW DO I JOIN THE TEAM ?
Our team has Annual tryouts, during tryouts we have a short camp to teach agility, parade walks, and choreography. After the camp we have the formal tryout, the judges will look at the things learned during the camp to see if you are a good fit for our team. Previous Dance experience is recommended but not required.
HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO BE APART OF THE TEAM?
We have two teams, our Junior team ranges from ages 6 - 11 and our Senior team ranges from ages 11-18. this may vary depending on dance skill and ability, for instance someone may be 10 years old and may be an advanced dancer, in this case the 10 year old would be placed on the senior team.
WHAT KIND OF TRAINING DO THE COACHES HAVE?
Our coaches are qualified for their position. They both have 10+ years of dance training in Ballet, Jazz, Hip hop, and Contemporary dance. They have also danced on other majorette dance teams and have been coaching for 5 years.
